Yemaya has two large yoga deck areas suitable for leading classes. The primary hardwood thatched roof shala can accommodate up to 50pp and the uncovered sea deck can accommodate up to 35pp.

After landing in Managua you will want to spend the night in the city and depart the next morning for Big Corn Island via local flight on La Costena. The flight from Managua to Big Corn is approximately 1.5hrs.
Once you land on Big Corn Island the resort will arrange a taxi pickup from the airport to the boat dock (5min drive). Upon arrival at the docks, you’ll hop aboard the resort’s lancha (boat) for a 45 min thrilling (and incredibly picturesque) boat ride to Little Corn Island where you will be dropped off on Yemaya’s private beach. The lobster fishing industry used to be the primary industry on little corn island. Lobster season begins July 1 and the fresh lobster at Yemaya is to die for!
Yemaya has 9 stand up paddleboards, 8 kayaks, and snorkel gear available for resort guests to use free of charge.
